What You'll Do Overhaul, repair, troubleshoot and perform serviceability inspections on components, assemblies and sub assemblies in accordance with technical documentation Utilize specialty tooling and fixtures, precision metrology equipment, flow equipment, dynamic run stands Comprehensively document work performed in a detailed format Ensure all company and personally owned local GSE Perform other duties as assigned Your Required Qualifications Must be able to read and write English. Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required. Must have good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years cumulative experience with civilian/military aviation component overhaul and repair. Experience with precision measurement tooling, techniques and associated factors Frequently lift/push/ carry items up to 50 pounds. Experience on rotorcraft dynamics and drive train (rotor heads, transmissions, swash plates) (preferred) Airframe and Powerplant (A P) license (preferred) Benefits Full-time employment (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) with competitive compensation based on experience and credentials. About the Role
We are looking for a helicopter transmission mechanic to overhaul, repair, inspect and performance test helicopter transmissions, swashplates, rotorheads and other dynamic components. You will be working directly with management and test engineers on MRO capability development and process enhancement. This is a full-time position located in Billings, Montana. Compensation is competitive based on experience and credentials.
