United Rotorcraft Solutions to Display BK117 Upgraded Panel and 407 NVG Panel at Heli-Expo

The interior can be d, to include any repairs and modifications and a new exterior scheme with the proper preparation will extend the life of the helicopter. All work can be accomplished to coincide with any major inspections and/or overhauls due, thus providing a complete refurbished helicopter configured to meet any mission requirements. URS hopes to finalize negotiations at Heli-Expo to announce the launch customer.

The 407 panel also on display will reflect the STC’d NVG modifications utilizing external NVIS White filters of glass or poly carbon applied to both instruments and displays. The filters are mounted in an aluminum frame and affixed over the instrument’s bezel utilizing the existing instrument mounting screws. The frame for the filter is approximately 0.125″ thick. Mechanical and/or electrical modification to the cockpit or airframe is minimized reducing installation charges.

STC’s are pending for the Bell 206 and 412 and the Eurocopter AS350B2/B3, EC130, EC135 and BK117 series model helicopters. Award for the AS350B2/B3 STC is expected by mid-March.
