He had the S-58T then….it was on a Fire Contract with the Bureau of Land Mgmt. in CA. We trained Helirappellers with Chuck. Worked many fires with him over the years as well. They saved my bacon when a fire leaving a wilderness was threatening a recreation area and unknowingly that fire saved theirs. And not many know that on certain holidays they’d fly with a giant flag underneath from the airport to the fire center showing his patriotism and love for this country.
