Job Requirements

Must have a minimum of three (3) years specialized experience in Naval Aviation Maintenance Control processes and procedures. Completion of Maintenance Control Management-OOMA course C-555-0053 or equivalent. Must meet any other qualification standard imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.

Job Description

Reviews ADB’s for completions and accuracy and certifies aircraft safe for flight.
Assigns aircraft to flight schedule.
Coordinates with government on flight schedule changes and aircraft assignments. Coordinates with line to determine aircraft status, fueling and turn around status.
Complete work orders received from pilots or maintenance technicians in accordance with existing instructions.
Responsible to record and report aircraft discrepancies to proper work center. May be required to use hazardous materials in performance of assigned duties. Be able to utilize two-way radio and/or intercom system.
Have knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series and other applicable Navy Instructions and Company Instructions.
